Ruth Bradley is the long-time librarian for Captain Gilmer's 10,400 volume library. For over 30 years she has been choosing new books to keep the school current and being sure there are books of interest for every grade and to supplement classroom curriculum.

Ruth loves reading books for her own enjoyment. The children think she has read all 10,400 books! She also reads stories to the lower grades each week. In addition, she helps with program props and decorations.

Her other interests include cooking, camping, crafts, sewing, and her precious grandchildren.
