Jeanier Howard, M.A.

Jeanier Howard has a passion for education, especially at the elementary level. She believes that education is empowerment and that all children deserve a good Christian education. Ms. Howard has 22 years of teaching experience at the elementary school level. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Education degree also from the University of Cincinnati.

Ms. Howard became principal of Cincinnati Junior Academy in 2001 and served until 2005. Along with being Principal, Ms. Howard taught grades 3-6. Prior to this appointment, she taught grades 4-6 at Spring Valley Academy in Dayton, Ohio.

Ms. Howard has been teaching the 5th grade class at Captain Gilmer School since August of 2005. She enjoys reading, walking and cooking. Ms. Howard has dedicated her career to helping students grow spiritually and scholastically.
