Jeannie Larrabee, M.A.

Jeannie Larrabee is the Principal of Captain Gilmer School. She strives daily to uphold the school's mission and endeavors to keep the focus of the school on Jesus Christ. She chairs many committees that meet often to set action plans for the continual improvement of the school program.

Mrs. Larrabee holds a B.S. in Elementary Education, and she has a Masters of Science degree in Education. She also holds an Administrator Certificate from the North American Division Office of Education. She has had eight years classroom teaching experience and has over seven years experience in the administrative field. Mrs. Larrabee has also had the privilege of being an adjunct teacher for Southern Adventist University during the summers and has been a guest presenter at an Inclusion Conference in Memphis, Tennessee.

This principal is a member of ASCD and the International Reading Association. She also serves as a member on the Southern Union Education Council. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, cooking and hiking in God's nature.
