Evelyn Nicholaides, B.S.
Kindergarten/Pre-First

Evelyn Nicholaides has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She raised three children of her own, two of whom are also teaching in Adventist church schools.

For 16 years Evelyn has been working at Captain Gilmer School where 12 years ago she started the Kindergarten and Pre-first program. In 2008 she began a yearly International Food Fair to raise funds for the Early Childhood Program at Captain Gilmer School.

At the Fletcher Seventh-day Adventist Church she leads out in the Primary Sabbath School, provides the little children with "Quiet Bags" for the weekly worship time and directs the Vacation Bible School. The last 10 years she has created her own programs.

Mrs. Nicholaides and her husband spent six years in Rwanda, Africa, where she taught English as a third language to 9th grade students.
