About Us ::

Captain Gilmer School is an elementary program providing young people with an opportunity to receive an excellent education in a Christian environment. Founded in 1910, this program is reaching its 100th anniversary. This facility is owned and operated by Fletcher Academy, Inc., which is a Seventh-day Adventist affiliate. Our program services students in Pre- Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.

Captain Gilmer was established to create an environment to foster beliefs in God as our Creator and for students to know His word as our guide. We encourage not only high academics, but that each student may have a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Captain Gilmer School seeks to nurture thinkers rather than mere reflectors of others' thoughts; loving service rather than selfish ambition; maximum development of one's potential; and an appreciation for all that is beautiful, true, and good.
