Seventh-day Adventist schools are primarily for the education and training of Seventh-day Adventist youth. However, if you are a committed Christian or a non-Christian and wish to live by the principles of the Seventh-day Adventist church, then Captain Gilmer is for you!

Captain Gilmer School seeks applicants who wish to cheerfully abide by all school and church policies, perform duties assigned, seek academic success, and want to be involved in school activities. At registration, every student is asked to pledge their full support to uphold the philosophy and policies of Captain Gilmer School.

It is expected that the parent or guardian of the applicant will encourage the student to keep church and school standards at all times to ensure that the student’s conduct corresponds to the spirit of the institution. When conflicts between school rules and parental permission take place, the school rule will take precedence .
